I know there are people in prison in the United States and all
over the world who are there just for the possession of a herb!
I am also aware that valuable medical and industrial uses of this
herb are banned in many countries, denying low cost, ecologically
sound benefits to billions of people. Millions of patients are
being denied medicine for many illnesses. These are 'Patients
Out of Time'. This is a worldwide infringement of basic human
civil rights!
I pledge to support this 'International
Cannabis Coalition' and the Saturday,
May 4th 2007 MILLION MARIJUANA MARCH, which is
calling for an urgent end to the prohibition of Cannabis worldwide.
I agree that Cannabis Action groups must now be prepared to
work locally as part of a national and international coalition.
