Dear March Promoters,

We are down to the crunch.  We are woefully under financed and we are getting only limited financial  support from our endorsers or sponsors of the march.  Kudos to 'CANNABIS CULTURE' who has sent in $1000 (US) for our international promotions drive.  Poster printing and the shipping and postage is  very expensive (and NYC is bearing the weight).  Others we have approached have so far been reluctant to contribute.  I guess we will have to make do.

We are asking the promoters of each city to find a way to contribute $100.00 (US) each to this expensive international promotion and advertising effort.  We know some cities have no resources (or little to none), so some of the others will have to take up the slack.  But the time is now!  If we have over 100 cities then  theoretically we could have $10,000 to contribute to the effort. We can make it happen if we work together!

DISTRIBUTION OF POSTERS IS CRITICAL!

If you don't have posters yet, you need to contact Cures not Wars (NYC) or CAMP and we will get  them on the way to you for distribution.  It is always good to attempt to get donations for the poster. Any donations are good!  There are several posters now available you can download from the RESOURCES  section off the HOME page.  Several of these are in two-color seps (green & black) or they can be printed just  black.  There are also two full color posters, 81/2" X 14" format (legal size) ready to print off your color printer. (Then head to a friendly color copy printer!)  Just modify it to your own details. (Illustrator 8)

WHOLESALE PRODUCT IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO PROMOTE YOUR EVENT !

We have limited promotional materials printed for wholesale available to the promoters of the MMM.  Buttons, stickers, T-shirts, hemp hats with STEALTH (hidden) pockets.  We have a promotional 'star' lamp in the form of a cannabis leaf for fundraising at events (made in Turkey and produced by STARSHIP LONDON). Some of you might ask, why we are promoting the URL www.cannabis2000.com so hard?  Well to be honest, we expect thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of hits to this one hub and thereby linking to all the MMM cities, locations and information. Most of you promoters out there are not using this website to it's full potential.  It's your site.  Make sure you have all the information or art you want posted on the site and all your individual website banners & links.  (if we had resources, it would also be in French, German, Spanish)

There is not time to reinvent the wheel.  The new MMM art is there for your review in the PRODUCTS section..  Changes can be made for your custom order (yes if you hurry, you can customize it)  It could include your city or event on the T-shirts.  The 'CANNABIS 2000' lettering can be substituted or reversed with the bottom MMM lettering.  Or you could set up in your city to print the back.  You can also get last years product at cost to distribute. (we sell about 20% old stuff at events, for collectors)

The 3/4" buttons and stickers are all in the black version to save time and money. (If you want a different button or sticker, just pick a design and we can get you a good price)   We are also trying to get the 'mandala' art finished.  (A contribution from one of our supporters in Japan)  We hope to approve this design for T-shirts as well.  It's also available for you to download as a poster.

I can't stress enough how important it is to get this promo in front of the public right away.  It's critical.  The MMM Organizational Package is available for your use. Download it from the RESOURCES section as well.  It has been provided by Dominic of the Seattle Hempfest. It is very useful tool for your meetings.

If any of you have problems with the direction we are taking, you had better hurry with your imput.  We could use five times the content imput into the site that we have been getting.  We are relying on the fact that each city has its own independent advertising drive going and their own regional art.  We are only attempting to assist you or reinforce your promotions with a national effort.  The news release is coming out next week.
We have got to make a unified effort!

As for products, we can take credit cards for wholesale orders over the phone. We can take retail sales and donations over the web by Cybercash.  We ship UPS of FEDEX.  Other methods of shipment are possible.  Prices include shipping.  A lot of you have the ability to print your own promo materials.  If you need any consultation or advise, I am at your disposal.  (I have 30 years promotion and advertising experience)  We can also just ship you or email you the art for any of these designs you wish to print.
