The MILLENNIUM MARIJUANA MARCH
SATURDAY, MAY 6th, 2000
Last year on Saturday, May 1st, 1999, cannabis activists from around the world
stood up and declared with one voice, solidarity in opposition to the oppression
and tyranny of the United States' war on the cannabis culture.
Over sixty three years ago a great lie was propagated against the American
people. Without being represented by vote or being informed of the consequences,
the people were deprived of the use of the world's most beneficial and useful
plant, CANNABIS SATIVA, to many of you known as MARIJUANA. Last year over
682,000 Americans were arrested for possession of Cannabis.
For the last thirty years the U.S. Government has waged a war on its own citizenry
and has now forced this war on the peoples of the world. This year a unified
resistance has been undertaken.
Join us for a day of protest on SATURDAY, MAY 6th, 2000 - Marches in over
90 cities, 19 countries, on six continents worldwide.
Internet websites all over the world are on line to distribute the complete
information on all of these demonstrations (in many languages). The internet revolution
has made this event, the largest single direct action for the reform
