The Global Hempmuseum provides sick people with information about the use of marihuana with their sickness and/or disease. Giving out marihuana directly from the museum is forbidden. Fortunately we can and do so from the Willie Wortel Workshop since 1994. There we give out special cards to our registered patients, one of them from Belgium.
Our "patients" get their desired medicine, anything they like from our 20+ flavour menu, for half price, as in about 50 other coffeeshops spread over Holland, we accept Buyers clubs cards as well and have issued marihuana to American buyers clubcard owners on several occasions giving us a feeling of being connected with the rest of the "free" world.
A good friend of ours recently started interviewing marihuana patients for his book and we sponsor this initiative. We think this project will be a valuable contribution to medical reports. The patients are the experts and they are going to speak out as medical science can learn from them. Dutch patients don't hold back because they cannot be prosecuted for using it. I have already read some of these interviews, heartbreaking on one side but giving us the confirmation that this will be damaging to the people who are opposed to the use of marihuana for medicine.
